Flexible pulmonary-critical care job

- Traditional office-based ICU practice

- 6 Pulmonologists in the group looking to fill a high volume demand with flexible work hours and coverage

- Single well established 500 bed hospital

- Hospitalist and nocturnist coverage

- Home Call. In house call rooms available if desired

There are 4 ICUs MICU, SICU, CCU, and NICU

- Open model ICU currently but working on closed ICUs

- Mandatory critical care consults for most ICU patients

- Most patients are not admitted to pulmonary directly

Hospital Facilities include:

- Glidescopes in all ICUS

- Ultrasound available nearly 24/7

- PICC/central access team until 7 pm

- Bedside sit-rite for CVL placement

- Dedicated bronch/procedure room for chest tubes, thoracentesis

- Super D Navigation bronchoscopy

- Linear EBUS

- Radial EBUS

- Lung cancer low-dose CT screening program

Pulmonologists do their own percutaneous trachesotomies, rigid scopes, chest tubes, pleural drains, right heart caths, and pulmonary HTN management.
