Mount Carmel Health System has an outstanding full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Neurology physician to join an established Neurology practice located in Westerville, Ohio a suburb just northeast of Columbus.

The selected candidate will work within a multidisciplinary stroke team in a single location, hospital based practice. The team includes emergency medicine physicians, neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, neuropsychologists and rehabilitation specialists. Together the stroke team provides a coordinated rapid response system for treatment of stroke patients. Mount Carmel has an exemplary record in the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation stroke patients, earning recognition from the National Stroke Association as a designated stroke center.

Neurological diagnostic imaging services are provided by a staff of board-certified neuroradiologists utilizing the latest technologies, including 320-slice CT scanners, 3T magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, x-ray, angiography, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine and PET scanning.

This position does not take part in Emergency Department call.
