We are currently seeking qualified Physician Assistant candidates for a staff position in Cardiac Surgery. Our program currently has 2 cardiac surgeons, 3 cardiac surgical Physician Assistants, and 1 CRNP performing about 300+ cardiac surgical procedures annually, including CABG, valve surgery, LVADs, and ECMO.

Responsibilities:

Assisting physicians in the medical care and management of patients, performing such functions as first-assisting in the OR and endoscopic vein harvest (EVH)
Provide surgical support for CABG, cardiac valve surgery, and LVAD implantation
Actively participate in the medical management of patients during the preoperative, operative, and postoperative phases of patient care
