Seeking a family medicine physician with qualifications in OB to join St. John Family Medical Center as a faculty member located in St. Clair Shores, MI. The family medicine residency program is part of St. John Hospital & Medical Center, a fully accredited residency program that was established back in 1973. The residency program has a strong academic record and well respected community and hospital presence.
The practice sees approximately 500 outpatient visits per week. Visits include full scope family medicine including, office procedures, pediatrics, geriatrics, and newborn care.
Inpatient census is 10 patients/day
Call Schedule:
o Obstetric: 1:5
o Inpatient Rounding: 1:9
Office hours:
o Monday-Thursday 8:30am-8:00pm
o Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm
o Saturday 8:30am-12:00pm
This is a full-time employed position consisting of:
o 60% Clinical Practice Time
o 25% Teaching Time
o 15% Administrative/Research Time
A graduate of an accredited medical school and Family Medicine residency program
BC/BE in Family Medicine and qualifications in OB preferred
Interest in teaching residents and medical students
Meet requirements for medical licensure to practice in Michigan
