The West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Radiology is seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Radiologist with 3-5 years experience. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and radiology resident and fellows. Opportunities also exist in clinical research.

The WVU Department of Radiology is a leader in electronic imaging with all examinations in the diagnostic section acquired digitally with state-of-the-art imaging systems and accessed via a GE PACS system. Advanced imaging with PET-CT, MRI, and 320 slice CT puts us at the forefront of technology. As a WVU physician, youll make an extraordinary difference in the lives of patients across the state.

WVU is positioned at the center of a growing health system. Major expansion is underway to Ruby Memorial Hospital, adding a 10-story tower and an additional 114 licensed beds to the existing 461 bed facility. A new three story, 110,000 square foot ambulatory care facility opened in the spring of 2015 to help address the growing demand for services. The Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center has a full complement of academic programs in the clinical and basic sciences.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be ABR board certified.
