NorthShore University HealthSystem Medical Group (NorthShore), the principal academic affiliate of The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, is currently seeking a faculty Geriatrician. Qualified candidates will be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and be certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine. Physician responsibilities will include office-based and long term care-based primary care to older adults. Protected time is available for clinical/didactic teaching of Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents. There are also opportunities to participate in the development of NorthShores SNF-ist program and to provide medical directorship at long term care facilities in the North Shore area. Participation in ongoing quality programs related to management of outpatient chronic disease is also available.
