Practice opportunity one BC/BE Family Medicine Physician. Outpatient practice only. Join 2 board certified Family Physicians and 2 mid-level providers in this Mercy-owned practice. 75-100 outpatient visits per week. Nursing home call and after hours call. Possible option to share call with another Mercy- owned practice 20 minutes away. This employed position offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits. Mercy Family Clinic Forest City is part of a 9-hospital and 44-clinic Mercy Health NetworkNorth Iowa. Services include: Laboratory, X-ray, EKG, Occupational Health, Rehabilitation, Cardiology, Podiatry, General Surgery, Behavioral Services - Individual and Family Counseling.

Forest City population: 4,362, located in Winnebago County: population 11,500. Low cost of living, affordable housing, excellent schools. Smallest town in USA to have its own full service YMCA. Home to Winnebago Industries, the worlds largest manufacturer of motorized RVs. Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
