St. Anthony is seeking BC/BE Primary Care Physicians with St. Anthony Physicians Shawnee.

St. Anthony Physicians Shawnee is a well-established multispecialty group with over 30 physicians, 14 midlevel providers, and over 200 employees. The group has provided both primary and specialty care to the community of Shawnee for more than 40 years. It is located adjacent to St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital.

The community of Shawnee is growing rapidly - and so is the patient need for Primary Care in Shawnee. Due to the tremendous growth, St. Anthony Physicians Shawnee would like two additional physicians to join their team. It is expected that the incoming physicians will build their practices very quickly. St. Anthony also has a talented Marketing and Business Development team that assists physicians with building a patient base and maintaining a thriving practice.

Shawnee, Oklahoma, a city of approximately 30,000 residents. It is the county seat of Pottawatomie County, which has a population of approximately 70,000 residents. Shawnee is located 39 miles east of Oklahoma City, about a 40 minute drive. The community is rich in culture with a historic downtown, Native American heritage, multiple museums and two local universities.

St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital is a state of the art facility providing a wide range of services to Shawnee and the surrounding areas since 1964. The only hospital in Shawnee, it includes more than 70 physicians on its medical staff and 600 health care professionals working at two campuses. Licensed for 102 beds, it typically operates about 80 beds, and most rooms are now private rooms.

St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital is opening a new 115,000 square foot, three story addition to the hospital, which represents a significant expansion of the facility. The new addition will house a new Womens Center, a new intensive care unit, and a new inpatient surgery department. The building will be connected by enclosed hallway to the St. Anthony Physicians Group Clinic.
