Aurora Health Care offers a two-year fellowship in surgical oncology for general surgeons who seek advanced training in this field. It will be located at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center (ASLMC), the quaternary care flagship hospital of Aurora Health Care, a 16 hospital system located in eastern Wisconsin. The system treats over 7200 newly diagnosed cancer patients yearly with approximately one-third diagnosed and treated at ASLMC.
In addition to Cancer Surgery, the fellowship will include training in Medical, Radiation, and Gynecologic Oncology. Other specialty rotations will include Thoracic, Head and Neck, Breast and Urologic Oncology. Opportunities for clinical, translational or laboratory research are available as well.
