Job Description

Carilon Clinic is currently seeking a BC/BE General Neurologist to join our established patient focused practice at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, Virginia. This is a great opportunity for someone who values community - with a great patient population and great physician services. The hospital practice is consultative only with a dedicated hospitalist service handling adult medical admissions. The position is open to all candidates interested in establishing a general neurology practice, practicing evidence-based medicine, and providing quality care to patients. You will have interaction with medical students and residents, and an appointment to a neurology section that includes all major sub specialties. Specific clinical interests and sub-specialty training are welcome.

Practice Highlights:
Hospital Employed Position; conveniently located in the hospital
Join two experienced physicians
Call rotation is 10 days per month, very easy and rarely requires you to go in
Faculty appointment to Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
Epic EMR.
Fellowship training would be a plus, but not necessary.
