St. Luke’s is Building a New Hospital in Monroe County – Opening Fall of 2016

St. Luke’s University Health Network, the region’s largest, most established health system and one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals is coming to Monroe County. We are recruiting two General Surgeons for our new hospital. Applicants must be Board Eligible or Certified by the American Board of Surgery.   The practice will primarily be “bread and butter” general surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.  It will be primarily based at the new Monroe campus, although opportunities to rotate at the Bethlehem campus will exist. 

With the Temple-St. Luke’s School of Medicine, St. Luke’s has created the first and only regional medical school campus in the Lehigh Valley, validating our commitment to stay at the forefront of continual innovations in health care. St. Luke’s Bethlehem, a Level  I Trauma Center,  has a busy general surgery residency along with a surgical critical care fellowship.
