Job Description

The VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics (SORCC) is recruiting for Primary Care Physicians
*The opportunity is to practice as a primary care physician in the outpatient clinic at White City, OR. The candidate must be board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. The tour of duty will be from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday at some sites, and other sites have a compressed schedule with some Saturday hours and extended weekday hours. The duties will consist entirely of delivering care in an outpatient clinic.
We have a model of practice that is futuristic! We practice the PACT model of care, otherwise known as the Patient Centered Medical Home. Each primary care team consists of a provider, one RN, one LPN, and one clerical associate. Panel size is approximately 1200 patients. Each PACT team has additional assistance from dedicated pharmacy, social work, and mental health care staff.
We have state of the art equipment! We have a paperless record system and an advanced electronic health record. Tele-health technology is utilized to support the patients access to care.
Recruitment/Relocation Incentive may be available for highly qualified candidate. Permanent Change of Station (PCS) is not authorized.
