Bon Secours Medical Group (BSMG), a physician-led multi-specialty group in Richmond, VA, is currently recruiting a board eligible/board certified Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join their established perinatology practice. As part of this team, you will work with two other ABOG certified MFM specialists providing consult services to community Ob/Gyns. The ideal candidate will have a focus on practicing evidence-based medicine in accordance with ACOG and SMFM guidelines. Candidates should have strong clinical experience managing high-risk pregnancies and performing ultrasound, amniocentesis, and fetal echocardiography procedures according to AIUM guidelines. This position is open to all MFM candidates but preference will be given to physicians who perform cerclage procedures and chorion villus sampling (CVS).

BSMG is part of Bon Secours Health System, a six state, Catholic health care system with both acute and long-term care facilities. The perinatology practice has locations at three area hospitals, all of which offer Level III NICUs. St. Marys Hospital, Bon Secours flagship facility in Richmond, has a number of pediatric specialists who support a full-service, tertiary childrens hospital-within-a-hospital. St. Marys boasts the areas only pediatric ED staffed 24/7 by board certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians.
