Chief of Psychiatry Holy Family Hospital

Holy Family Hospital is seeking a Board Certified, experienced physician leader for the position of Chief of Psychiatry. Holy Familys two hospital campuses are a part of the 11 hospitals in the Steward Health Care System. Both campuses are located approximately 20 miles north of Boston and near the New Hampshire border in Methuen, MA and Haverhill, MA.

Holy Familys Methuen Campus- The inpatient program offers a secure 47-bed, acute care, short-term stabilization unit for voluntary and involuntary patients, age 18 and older. Based on need, patients are admitted to one of two secure units.

In addition, the hospital provides holding beds for adults who need continued assessment and treatment in a secure environment for up to 24 hours. At Holy Family Hospital, we also offer electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). The center works with other health care facilities, such as nursing homes and other hospitals, to make these services available to patients from other settings.

Holy Family at Merrimack Valley- The Center for Behavioral Medicine offers three distinct services for adults of all ages.
The Center for Recovery and Wellness helps patients suffering with conditions such as anxiety and depression.
The Senior Adult Behavioral Medicine Center helps people 55 and older through major life changes that require hospitalization.
The Comprehensive Addiction Program provides patients with medical conditions, the medical assistance they need while going through detoxification from drugs and alcohol, and following discharge, provides outpatient programs to give patients the support services they need to stay on their path to recovery.
