About the Organization
Oregon Medical Group is a primary care based, multispecialty physician group with offices throughout the Eugene/Springfield area. Our group consists of internists, family practitioners, pediatricians, ob/gyns, and several specialists including orthopedics, otolaryngology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pain management, dermatology, and neurology. We have a wide variety of ancillary services to support efficient patient care and access, including laboratory, diagnostic imaging, a women's breast health center (Cedar Clinic), infusion services, anticoagulation, audiology, and physical therapy.
Our group was formed in 1988 with the principle that physician control and direction is essential for the provision of high quality medical care. In addition, we believe that being in a group practice allows for greater continuity of patient care than in other types of practices. We strive to attract the brightest and best-trained physicians within each specialty of the practice. We encourage their pursuit of continuing education to provide patient care based on the most current and innovative accepted practice standards. Our physicians maintain a positive working relationship with both of the area's hospitals, Sacred Heart Medical Center and McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center. Collectively, these organizations provide the full spectrum of health-related hospital services throughout the Lane County area. Our medical practice is governed by Clinic Directors.
We offer a competitive income guarantee with productivity incentives. After one to two years physician will go to productivity. Also available are comprehensive benefits including paid malpractice, retirement and relocation assistance.
About the Community
Outdoor recreation is easy to find in Eugene, a health-conscious city where many people walk or bike to work. Water sports are popular because Eugene lies near the confluence of the McKenzie and Willamette rivers, and the community is perhaps best known as home to the University of Oregon. The city features many performing arts and culture venues.
