About the Organization
Since 1969, the Sixteenth Street Community Health Center has provided quality health care, health education, and social services to residents of a multi-cultural neighborhood on Milwaukee's near south side. SSCHC has the unique expertise, knowledge, and skills to provide quality health care to underserved populations.The clinic offers primary medical care including family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine and women's health. In addition the clinic offers behavioral health, WIC, health education, environmental health, HIV and social services. Specialty care includes ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Pediatric GI, infectious disease, podiatry, neurology, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
