About the Organization
Founded in Fannin county, Georgia Mountains Health was born out of the local need for medical care in the area has provided quality primary healthcare services to all members of the community, including the medically, socially and economically disadvantaged since 1984.
As a non-profit, charitable organization, Georgia Mountains Health is focused on its mission of providing direct medical and dental care, community based health screenings and health education to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. All practice locations have Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) capabilities and participate in the Evidence Based Health Disparity collaborative.
The mission of Georgia Mountains Health Services is to be responsive to the primary and preventative medical and dental needs of our community in a manner that delivers quality care, which is accessible and affordable to all. Georgia Mountains Health currently employs 20 provides and operates a network of six primary care medical offices and one dental office.
Spanning Fannin, Gilmer, Lumpkin Murray and Whitfield counties, Georgia Mountains Health Services is located the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, only an hour's drive from Chattanooga, Tennessee and metro-Atlanta. The picturesque mountain region of North Georgia is recognized for the Appalachian Trail, world class whitewater rafting, fly fishing, boating and hiking in a family friendly community.
