For over 35 years, Sterling Area Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center and Primary Care Medical Home, has provided comprehensive health care to the medically underserved areas of Arenac County, Ogemaw County, and the surrounding areas situated in Lower Michigans Central/Northeastern Region. Physician and professional staff include family and internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, gynecology, dentistry, substance abuse/behavioral health counseling and health education.
Sterling Area Health Center has a dynamic opportunity for a MD/DO at Sterling Area Health Center! Traditional family practice (no OB) in a clinical setting conveniently located in Central Michigan. Ogemaw County is located 130 miles north of Detroit, also close to Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron and is an integral part of the Mid-Michigan/Central Michiganarea of the lower peninsula of Michigan close to the city, the country, the woods and the lakes.
