As the largest independent provider of healthcare in Alabama and the region's premier family/urgent care, American Family Care has dedicated more than 28 years of service to our patients, medical staff, employees and the communities we serve. We put the patient, not the healthcare provider, at the center of the delivery model. AFC is a privately held company and is not affiliated with any hospital system or HMO. Our management focus is on the physicians we employ. Because we are a physician-driven organization, our physicians can rely upon the support they need to succeed. While many companies are experiencing a decline in capital development and a reduction in personnel, American Family Care is showing growth in both areas. We have grown to over 60 clinics across the states of Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia. Additional expansion includes 10 to 12 new clinics a year. Our clinics are designed, equipped, and staffed to provide comprehensive urgent care, family care, minor emergency treatment and occupational medicine. We are equipped with EMR, digital X-Ray, and on-site lab. Our Southeast locations throughout Alabama and growth into Tennessee provide access to great schools, warm climate, prestigious colleges and universities, wonderful shopping, Fortune 500 Companies, superb healthcare and beautiful beaches. American Family Care offers a flexible schedule, competitive base salary with productivity incentive, executive benefit package, retention bonus/student loan assistance. The opportunities are outpatient only, with limited night call and no financial investment required.
