About the Organization
Fairfield Medical Center, located in the third fastest growing county in Ohio, we are a 222-bed hospital located about 25 minutes southeast of Columbus. We are the largest employer in Lancaster, as well as Fairfield County.
FMC has built a multi-story structure, which will feature a new surgery department, 30 private patient rooms and a variety of clinical support spaces. We will be able to revitalize patient care with private rooms to improve the patient care environment. Families will be better accommodated as well. The new FMC Surgery Department features 10 spacious operating rooms that will allow for advanced surgical technology, including robotic equipment. The new facility will mean better healthcare delivery for the residents we serve in Fairfield County and Southeastern Ohio.
Fairfield Medical Center strives to meet the healthcare needs of the communities it serves. The Center and physician practices in the area work to recruit physicians in various specialties.
