Health Quest is a three hospital system and multi-specialty practice located in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York State, 75 minutes north of NYC. We are the region's largest healthcare network, providing immediate and caring service to the one million people who reside in the NY counties of Columbia, Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam and northern Westchester. The Health Quest system offers a full range of hospital services, primary care, urgent care, and specialists. The not-for-profit system includes three hospitals with 697 beds, 33,500 patient admissions and 101,000 emergency room visits. We are consistently ranked as one of New York State's most successful Health Systems. Vassar Brothers Medical Center, located in Poughkeepsie, is a 365-bed tertiary care hospital that has been serving New York's Mid-Hudson Valley since 1887. Located on the banks of the Hudson River, Vassar Brothers has established centers of excellence in cardiac services, cancer care and women and children's health services. Northern Dutchess Hospital, located in Rhinebeck, is a 68-bed acute care, non-profit hospital providing a comprehensive range of emergency, medical and surgical services. Putnam Hospital Center, located in Carmel, is a 164-bed not-for-profit acute care hospital offering the highest quality medical, surgical, psychiatric, pediatric and obstetrical/gynecological care, as well as 24-hour emergency services and home health care. Health Quest Medical Practice is a multi-specialty medical group that employs over 200 primary care and specialty providers. HQMP offers access to physicians in Breast Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Psychiatry as well as Family Practitioners in offices conveniently located throughout our region.
