Fairview has teamed up with Minnetonka-based Geneticure to conduct a year long, 800-person study that will analyze how treatment plans personalized to a patient's genetic code can help to treat high blood pressure.

In this role, the PA will:

Practice in an outpatient clinic setting.
See patients for initial screening and diagnosis, and over the course of 1 year, conduct 8 follow-up visits with the patients enrolled in the study.
Practice locations will be at Fairview Clinics - Hiawatha and Fairview Clinics - Burnsville with potential for expansion to additional clinic locations.
Position is guaranteed for 1 year, but we anticipate the potentialforadditional studies.

Position Qualifications:

A qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant program. Have a current PA license with prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice. Be certified through the NCCPA and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Preferred Qualifications:

While new graduates will be considered, previous experience in a primary care setting as a Physician Assistant is preferred. Flexibility to travel between clinics each week. Innovative/entrepreneurial mindset.
