PeaceHealth is seeking a relief General Cardiologist based in the Bellingham community.

Join PeaceHealth's Cardiovascular Services team to fill in on an as-needed basis.

The team includes 13 cardiologists and 9 advanced practice clinicians--including 6 General Cardiologists, 4 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 advanced Heart Failure Specialist, 2 Electrophysiologists, 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 3 Vascular Surgeons.

This collegial cardiovascular service is in a clinic/hospital-based practice with 2 fully equipped operating rooms, 3 recently upgraded Catheterization Labs and EP suite, ICAVL/ACAEL certified outpatient and in-patient Vascular and Echo labs. Coverage includes in-house hospitalist and ICU/Intensivist teams.

Highlights:

Call is 1:7 (assist as needed)
Cardiac MR, 3-D TEE, and dual source Cardiac CTA on site
Structural heart program including TAVR and Watchman
Mechanical circulatory support program including LVADs and ECMO
Tertiary community hospital

Desired Requirements:

Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
Echocardiogram and Nuclear Board Certification or Board Eligibility
Cardiac CTA certification is optional
2-3 years of experience preferred; open to new graduating fellows
