The Baylor Family Medicine Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner evaluates, plans, and provides care for patients in consultation with and under direct supervision of attending Physician. The Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner performs clinical procedures under direction of the attending Physician and according to approved protocols. Our Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners initiate and change orders for tests and patient care based on condition of patient and approval of Physician. Our Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners develop and maintain active practice in facilities.
