PeaceHealth is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner based in the Longview community.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with training in Psychiatry or Behavioral Health, who will join our collegial team to serve our friendly community. This position is part time, but we also have a full time positoin available. Position is open to practitioners willing to see adult-only patients and those who would like to see Child & Adolescent patients as well.

PeaceHealth Medical Group has a comprehensive system of care that serves children, adolescents, adults and seniors struggling with issues of chemical dependency and/or emotional distress. Our providers are experienced medical doctors, advance registered nurse practitioners, psychologists and social workers. St. John Medical Center has a 22 inpatient adult beds.

Longview, Washington is a family-oriented community of 57,000. Located just 45 minutes from Portland, Oregon, we have an interactive and involved medical and local community and a state of the art hospital. Many people come here for the outdoor lifestyle from the mountains to the Pacific Ocean. We are home to the Lower Columbia College with a beautiful performing arts center. We are 1 hour west to the Pacific Ocean; 45 minutes east to Mt St Helens, 1.5 hours to Mt Hood, White Pass and Mt Rainier for skiing and hiking. 2 hrs North to downtown Seattle, and located on Columbia River and two other rivers - multiple lakes for year round fishing and summer boating/swimming.

Qualifications:

Graduate of Accredited School offering an Advanced Degree in Nurse Practice (ARNP) required; MSN preferred.
Training in psychopharmacology preferred.
Experience in psychiatric treatment setting preferred.
Experience in diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning for person with psychiatric illness and who may be chemically dependent preferred.
ANCC AANP certification required.
PMHNP licensure required.~s
