PeaceHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology EP based in the Bellingham community.

PeaceHealth Medical Group, Cardiology has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Electrophysiology with experience in the management of patients with arrhythmia conditions, including pacemakers and defibrillator evaluation and programming to join an established practice in Bellingham Washington.

Join a well-established, stable Cardiology practice. PeaceHealth Cardiology practice with a main clinic in Bellingham and 7 satellite clinics. Currently there are 13 Cardiologists in the group--including 7 General Cardiologists, 4 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists; 6 ARNPs, 3 Vascular Surgeons, and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons, and multiple clinical support staff. This collegial team is in a hospital-based practice with a dedicated Cardiovascular Center, 2 fully equipped operating rooms, ICAVL/ICAEL certified outpatient and in-patient Vascular and Echo labs. Clinic hours run from: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday Friday. May include rotation to secondary market clinics for follow-up patient visits.

BRIEF SUMMARY
Electrophysiology Services includes...

Evaluation and management of pacemaker, defibrillator and heart failure cardiac devices including device interrogation.
Providing direct care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac devices on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Managing patients on anticoagulation for conditions such as atrial fibrillation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a graduate from an accredited ARNP or Physician Assistant program.
Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible for licensure in the State of Washington.
Will consider new graduates with a high interest in learning EP Cardiology. Preferably 1-2 years experience within the specialty.
Possession of Federal DEA number without restriction.
Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred.
