Portland: We invite a skilled General Surgeon to join an established, hospital-owned surgical group within an award-winning 200+ bed medical center with two campuses in the highly desirable city of Portland, Maine. This respected 100-year old hospital is part of the states second largest health system, and accepts all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.

We offer a full time, employed position for you to join a peer surgeon, a surgical oncologist, and two Surgical PAs, in a group that proudly enjoys high referring provider satisfaction.

Mentoring and focused career development are offered to newly trained surgeons!

This organization has a continual focus on patient safety and preventive medicine. You will handle primarily bread and butter general surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive and acute care surgery. If you have strong skills in advanced laparoscopy, and a desire to work in a collaborative, patient-centered practice, this could be the ideal place for you! Practice in an updated outpatient facility with a well-equipped procedure room, and ultrasonography.

If you wish to establish a strong acute care surgery practice, you may!
