Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certified Needed to Cover Per Diem Hospitalist Team

Seeking an experienced Adult, Family or Acute Care Advanced Practice Clinician - Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Cerfified - to cover: per diem position.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing, Adult, Family, or Acute Care, Nursing Practitioner, or Physician Assistant Studies with appropriate licensure and credentialing to practice under the supervision of a physician in the state of Maryland. Credentialing through the Maryland Nursing Board as well as the health system in the provision of advanced practice skills. A minimum of two years of direct patient care experience as a RN in the emergency department, ICU, internal medicine or hospitalist service.

Responsibilities include:

Floor calls,
Admissions with orders and dictations.
Back-up support is ICU APC, and home hospitalist.

APC Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be an employee of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health which offers competitive salary and benefits package.
