Sutter Medical Group is seeking a full time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an established Neurosurgery practice in downtown Sacramento, CA. The opportunity will be a combination of clinic, hospital duties and call coverage, as well as assisting in surgery. Duties may include, but not limited to, screening patients, diagnostics, pre-op, post-op, rounding and ER coverage during the day for consults. Surgical procedures will include spine epidural, set-up for cervical fusion, laminectomy, microdescectomy, single level lumbar fusions, and craniotomy. Candidate must be comfortable with Electronic Medical Records. One year experience in Neurosurgery preferred. However, all candidates will be considered with the appropriate training, background, and interpersonal skills. Applicant must be Nationally Certified and eligible for California and DEA License.
