Baylor Scott White Health is seeking Advance Practice
Providers to join our expanding program within the Divisions of Palliative Care
in Waco, TX.

The Baylor Scott White Palliative Care Advanced
Practice Provider evaluates, plans, and provides care for inpatients in
consultation with and under direct supervision of attending Physician. The
Palliative Care APP performs clinical procedures under direction of the
attending Physician and according to approved protocols. Our Advanced Practice Provider
initiates and changes orders for tests and patient care based on condition of
patient while developing and maintaining active practice in facilities.


What your week may consist of:

Discussions with patients and families on goals of care and advance care
planning

Pain and
symptom management

Supporting
development of new patient palliative care programs with eventual outpatient
expansion

Collaborating with physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains and other
specialists to provide care meeting the medical, psychological and spiritual
needs of each patient.

Valid Texas RN license

Valid Texas Nurse Practitioner license

Master's of Science in Nursing degree
