Gastroenterology Physician

Baylor Scott White Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible, fellowship trained Gastroenterologistto join an outstanding satellite clinic of our Central Texas Gastroenterology Division. The Killeen Clinic and Metroplex Hospital position involves caring for many of our active military family members from Ft. Hood, having an intimate practice in a smaller community, while having large medical community resources.

Though you will haveadmissionprivileges, we areprimarily a consult service withinpatients being cared for by our outstanding hospitalist group. The call is 1:6 with average census of 10 patients and opportunities for both MAC and nurse assisted sedation. Outpatient endoscopy is performed in a large ambulatory endoscopy center adjacent to the mainhospital.Our Killeen location currently has 4 of our full-time gastroenterologists rotating to that location, 2 full time NPs and a dietician.

We are looking for a hard-working, team-based gastroenterologist to dedicate 100% of his/her time to the Killeen location and continue to forge strong relationships with other community providers.BSW also employsa number of the other specialties that serve MetroplexHospital including Colorectal Surgery andthe Hospitalist Group.
