Baylor Scott White Health (Central) is seeking a BC/BENeuro Oncologistfor a full time academic appointment to join the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute in Temple, Texas. The qualified candidate should have demonstrated by prior training and experience superior skills in neuro oncology treatment. The physicianwilljoin as a secondneuro oncologist on staff.Accredited fellowship training in neuro oncologyis required. The candidate is expected to participate fully in the clinical and academic activities of the program, including assuming an active role incontinuous program growth throughout the region, resident training, teaching, and investigative endeavors. Diverse research opportunities are available and encouraged at the basic, translational, clinical, and health services/outcomes research levels.Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor Scott White Health (Central) has a fully accredited seven-year neurosurgery residency program and is the only academic Neurosurgery Department in Central Texas with eight full-time neurosurgeons in a major teaching hospital and a level-I Trauma Center. The candidate will be eligible for principal faculty appointment with Texas AM University College of Medicine with academic rank commensurate with training and experience. The ideal candidate is a hard-working, team player with a favorable work and/or training history. The physician should be able to independently administer and interpret routine and special diagnostic test in an expedient and professional manner. Candidates should also be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide optimum care for each patient.
