The Vancouver Clinic is seeking a nurse practitioner to be part of a collaborative care team. This position sees patients exclusively at a designated skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate provides care across a broad spectrum of clinical areas, can work independently in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills to build trust and rapport with patients and their families, attending physicians and facility staff.

Responsibilities:

Primary health care provider who can diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses and perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
Prescribe necessary medications and treatments
Coordinate patient care with facility Nursing Director and attending physicians; facilitate referrals to specialists and other medical facilities

Qualifications:

ANCC or AANP Certification
One year of nurse practitioner experience in internal medicine, geriatrics or primary care

The successful candidate will need to apply for or have an active WA State nurse practitioner license. This position is full-time with the option of a four-day work week schedule. Who We Are: Since 1936 The Vancouver Clinic has been providing care to the families of Southwest Washington. We provide medical services from our five sites located throughout Clark County. At the Vancouver Clinic you will find state-of-the-art facilities. Clinic function has been aided by the implementation of the EPIC Electronic Medical Record System. The clinic provides convenience to our patients by offering many ancillary services including Pharmacy, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging (MRI, PET Scan, CT, Bone Densitometry, Ultrasound, and Mammography), Anticoagulation/Infusion Center, Endoscopy Center, Ambulatory Surgery Center and a Travel Clinic. The Clinic continues to add new services where appropriate.
