General Surgery Opportunity near the Research Triangle

Wilson Medical Center is seeking an additional general surgeon to join the local surgical group. The practice is expanding to meet an increase in surgical volume. The surgeons share call equally and the new surgeon will participate in a 1:4 call schedule. The medical center is a 280 plus bed facility and provides medical services to a drawing population of more than 150,000 area residents. A highly competitive income guarantee will be offered to the right candidate that includes, a sign on bonus, relocation expenses, and possible student loan reimbursement. Wilson Medical Center is committed to providing excellent care to our community. We serve residents in a six-county service area, including Wilson, Wayne, Nash, Johnston, Greene and Edgecombe counties.

Services include interventional cardiology, state-of-the-art cancer care, including clinical trials, womens and childrens services, and onsite rehabilitative and nursing care.

Dr. Nadine Skinner and Physician Assistant Karyl Noonan offer primary care services for all ages at Wilson New Hope Primary Care. Dr. Patricia Hinson of Wilson Primary Care -- Stantonsburg and Dr. Sopna Jacob of Wilson Primary Care focus on adult care, including prevention, early detection and treatment. Dr. Sayeed Hossain of Wilson Pulmonary Associates, Dr. Ken Johnson of Wilson ENT & Sinus Center, Dr. Rick Guarino and Ben Thomas of Wilson Neurology, Dr. Martin Senicki of Wilson Regional Orthopedics, and Wilson Gastroenterology all offer the community specialized care in Wilson.

Our 90 active staff physicians provide care in a wide range of specialties, including cardiology, radiation oncology, cancer, otolaryngology, pulmonary, pathology, urology, neurology and gastroenterology.
