Mid to Senior Level Pediatric Urologist

The Department of Surgery is seeking a mid to senior level Pediatric Urologist. This position is a mid to senior level, collateral, non-tenure track faculty position in the area of Pediatric Urology.


The faculty member should have clinical interests that complement and expand existing expertise in the Division.
The faculty member will also support the division with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Faculty member will assist in ongoing research and clinical trials as appropriate.
Faculty member will serve on departmental, College, and/or University committees as necessary, as well as in a professional in their field, e.g., reviewer, conference organizer, etc.
The faculty member will be expected to build and maintain a busy patient centered clinical practice with focus on advanced pediatric urology.
A multidisciplinary approach is encouraged with our colleagues in pediatric nephrology, general pediatrics, transplant medicine, and others.


Must be board certified or board eligible in Urology.
Fellowship training or comparable experience in pediatric urology.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required.
A History of excellence in teaching residents and medical students.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Laparoscopic and robotic surgical experience.
Commitment to developing unique and new minimally invasive techniques.
