We are currently assisting the trauma surgeons at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in recruiting a new trauma surgeon.

MD or DO candidates
The hospital is preparing to offer a competitive income guarantee
General Surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
Fellowship in Trauma required from an accredited ACGME program
Critical Care Board certified or board eligible candidates only
Office on the campus of Texas Health Fort Worth
Call schedule will be 1:6

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is a 720-bed facility serving a population of over 2.5 million. This facility is a Level II Trauma Center, and has a robust emergency department with more than 90,000 visits and an active call schedule. The Emergency Center is a Center of Excellence. On average, Texas Health Fort Worth admits and treats more than 2,700 trauma patients each year. We have a Gold Beacon award-winning ICU dedicated to the care of trauma patients, and even an operating room that is reserved at all times for the treatment of this unique population. The multidisciplinary trauma team includes respiratory therapists, physical therapists, chaplains, physicians, surgeons and anesthesiologists on the medical staff, nurses, radiology technicians, patient advocates, social workers, rehabilitation services, volunteer services, speech and occupational therapists, and many more. All staff involved with trauma care have advanced training.
