Gynecologic Oncologist


The VCU Division of Gynecologic Oncology is seeking a full time Gynecologic Oncologist to join our burgeoning academic program. The Department of OBGYN is integrated with the Massey Cancer Center and oversees education for the VCU School of Medicine. Faculty positions are available which which can be tailored for individual interests and backgrounds to have a wide range of clinical, research, education and service opportunities.


Responsibilities:
- Provide specialty care in Gynecologic Oncology
- Clinical activities and management of women with gynecologic cancers
- Responsible for both inpatient and outpatient care
- Work closely with colleagues in Radiology, Pathology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology to provide patient centered care for complex cases
- OR days to include minimally invasive robotic surgery
- Chemotherapy
- Active involvement in student and Resident teaching
- Give lectures, teach in the patient simulation lab and participate in tumor board
- Participate and initiate clinical research projects


Qualifications:
- BC/BE OB/GYN
- Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology
