Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG), in collaboration with the Loma Linda University Cancer Center (LLUCC), is seeking an energetic and skilled Chief of Medical Oncology & Hematology.

The successful candidate will be a physician-scientist with a distinguished record of scholarly achievement, a strong commitment to patient care and graduate medical education, and proven leadership skills. He or she will be board certified in medical oncology/hematology and will be recruited at the Associate or Full Professor level. The Chief will fill strategic roles in both the Cancer Center and the School of Medicine as the Cancer Center moves towards NCI designation.

LLUCCprovides patient-focused, world-class care, together with an emphasis on the translation of science into patient care. This translational research and cancer care is provided by highly respected specialists in a convenient and accessible environment. The LLUCCserves as a portal to 11 teams that research and treat specific types of cancer. This ensures that every patients care is comprehensive, individualized and meets our mission to make man whole through healing the whole personbody, mind and spirit.

LLUFMG is affiliated with Loma Linda University Medical Center, Childrens Hospital, School of Medicine and Cancer Center, with the mission to deliver whole-person care at a world-class level of clinical excellence. The Medical Center serves as the largest tertiary referral source in both Riverside and San Bernardino counties with a surrounding population over 4 million.

Loma Linda University's Medical Center and Children's Hospital is the only Level I Trauma Center serving a four county area that covers approximately 25 percent of the state. The Medical Center and Childrens Hospital are equipped with over 850 licensed beds. The Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is one of the largest and most advanced neonatal centers in the world, with 82 beds and 22,000 square feet dedicated to caring for some of our smallest patients.
