Cardiologist Advanced Heart Failure
Metro Atlanta

WellStar Medical Group is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist with additional sub-speciality fellowship training and certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant.

We are currently in the growth phase of a Destination Therapy LVAD program located in a major metropolitan area. Our 630-bed implanting hospital serves as a tertiary referral center for 10 other hospitals in our system, which are dispersed throughout the state. We have a formal alignment with a large academic center that serves as our transplant partner.

Join our multi-disciplinary clinical team which includes a VAD trained cardiologist, a VAD surgeon, a VAD coordinator, 3 Heart Failure NPs, as well as, social workers and behavioral health professionals. Our team provides inpatient and outpatient care of patients with heart failure and durable LVAD therapy.

WellStar Cardiovascular Medicine is the largest and most comprehensive provider of cardiovascular services in northwest Georgia. The WellStar Cardiac Network includes 11 hospitals and 13 office locations throughout metro Atlanta. Our 62 physicians and 52 APPs provide care for the entire spectrum of cardiac patients (surgery, structural heart, EP, advanced imaging, complex intervention, ECMO, and research).
