Nurse Practitioner Hematology/Oncology - Pocono

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join our cancer center team at our Pocono campus in East Stroudsburg, PA.
The Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono was built in 2012, and provides a full line of cancer treatment services to patients. It joins our Lehigh Valley Health Network one cancer institute with 7 cancer treatment locations. LVHNs successful academic community cancer program, is one of only three national programs chosen by the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) Alliance. This alliance creates a unique opportunity to share knowledge and bring state of the art clinical trials and cancer care to our patients in the Lehigh Valley. Lehigh Valley HospitalPocono is a 235 bed nonprofit community hospital in East Stroudsburg, PA, which joined our LVHN network in January, 2017. Pocono has a 41-bed emergency department that records over 80,000 annual patient visits, 10 new surgical suites and a large ambulatory surgical area. We also have 215 physicians on the medical staff, with access to our Level I trauma center in Allentown, PA. The Pocono area is also an ideal place to reside with year-round outdoor activities such as skiing, golfing, hiking, biking and boating. The region has 170,000 residents, affordable housing, safe neighborhoods and quality schools. Just 80 miles west of New York City and 100 miles north of Philadelphia.

Our team at the cancer center is made up of experienced physicians and staff and are dedicated to providing state of the art care, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, to bring the most recent medical advances close to home. Attention is given to the medical, emotional, financial, nutritional and psychological needs of each patient and their family.
