West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Urology is actively recruiting a urologist / Assistant Professor to join the faculty practice.

The primary worksite of the position is at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, a 90-bed acute care hospital and vital community resource in Glen Dale, WV. The candidate will have an academic appointment in the Department of Surgery teaching medical students and surgery/urology residents; will also have opportunities to perform operations at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Glen Dale is a small town in the Wheeling metropolitan area where you can experience the arts, entertainment, and many outdoor activities. It is also within close driving distance of Pittsburgh, PA, Columbus, OH, and Morgantown, WV, the location of our flagship teaching hospital, Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Reynolds Memorial Hospital has recently become part of the West Virginia University Health System. WVUHS, anchored by Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV, is a statewide health system including eight hospitals with 1,450 licensed beds, 12,000 employees, 900 active medical staff, and 18 related organizations.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent), be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license, and must be BC/BE in urology from an accredited urology residency program at the time of appointment.
