Glendale Adventist Behavioral Medicine is looking for a Psychiatric Physician to join their team in providing professional, compassionate behavioral health care services for people dealing with the symptoms of a mental illness. This facility is a 60+ bed unit with a sister facility off-site alcohol and drug program.

This Inpatient Behavioral Health and Recovery center is widely regarded by health care professionals and the community for providing exceptional care to patients and families. Included in this array of services are:

Psychiatric emergency intervention
Crisis stabilization
Acute psychiatric care
Complex case management
Dual diagnosis treatment (chemical dependency and psychiatric disorders)
Senior care intensive intervention
Return-to-life programs
Somatic therapies

Candidate needs to be willing to share call coverage and rounds with four other physicians and a usual schedule of Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate would need to be comfortable with designing new and improved treatments for those needing alcohol and drug management in high volumes as well as other psychiatric needs.

The ideal candidate will need to be CA licensed and have previous inpatient experience. However, physicians who are able to obtain a CA license and newly trained physicians will also be considered. Candidates must be BE/BC and meet the hospitals medical staff credentialing standards.
