Hospice Medical Director/ Palliative Medicine Physician - UnityPoint Clinic "Fort Dodge"

UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Hospice Medical Director and Palliative Medicine Physician to join our team in Fort Dodge, IA.

Overview:
Established and Nationally Recognized Palliative Care Program
Looking for someone to be the "face" of our Hospice Program as a Medical Director
Current Providers (1 Palliative Physician/ three nurse practitioners)
Experienced staff, both clinical and non- clinical who know the patients extremely well
Quality of life

Practice Details:
Hospice Medical Director .5 FTE and Palliative .5 FTE
Average hospice patients 3-4 per day
Want Hospice and Palliative Care Experience
Assist hospital and direct Hospice Program to ensure continued licensure, certification, and accreditation.
Provide or participate in educational or clinical programs for the medical staff.
Participate in programs and professional organizations to enhance visibility and acceptance of hospice programs and services.
Participate in quality improvement meetings
Manage the paperwork required by CMS
Split call duties for Palliative on a .5 FTE status with other providers in Palliative Medicine
