HSHS Medical Group is seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist (physician) to lead the department and to serve the patients of the newly created Cancer Institute at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

In addition to providing excellent outpatient and inpatient care, this physician will be instrumental in shaping and developing a comprehensive, regional cancer center, including outreach locations. This position will be heavily focused on treating patients, and is not a strictly administrative position.

This physician will join two board-certified, experienced providers - one Hematologist/Oncologist physician and one Radiation Oncologist physician, as well as our newest Hematologist/Oncologist physician starting in July 2017. A third Hematologist/Oncologist is being recruited.
