The Penn State Health Heart and Vascular Institute is recruiting a full-time faculty non-invasive cardiologist for our University Park Regional Medical Campus in State College, PA. This is an opportunity to join a growing outpatient cardiology practice nestled in the mountains of beautiful central Pennsylvania.

This new Cardiologist will work on the front lines of medical education while providing advanced cardiology care in a thriving community practice. The new faculty member will partner with an established faculty cardiologist to advance education and clinical care in the region. Enjoy being part of an innovative medical campus while working in close proximity to one of the worlds most prestigious academic institutions. Appropriate candidates will have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and additional sub-specialty fellowship in Cardiology.

As a faculty Cardiologist employed by Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, candidates will be involved in both clinical and teaching activities. Successful candidates will have a keen enthusiasm for teaching and working in collaborative team based environments. The level of faculty appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience and training.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
Completion of an accredited fellowship program
Eligible for licensure for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
