The Division of Academic General Pediatrics at the Penn State Childrens Hospital and the Penn State College of Medicine is seeking a talented physician scientist. The successful candidate will have completed an academic general pediatrics fellowship or similar program, and have a strong or growing track record of scholarship.

The successful candidate will join a well-established Division with extensive expertise and federal funding related to childhood obesity, child abuse, quality improvement, screening tests, and breastfeeding. Penn State Health also offers a vast array of clinical and academic resources, a strong collaborative atmosphere, as well as close ties with other Penn State University programs.

The freestanding childrens hospital is located near Harrisburg, PA and is a safe, family-friendly location with access to excellent public schools. Our neighborhoods boast a reasonable cost of living whether you prefer a suburban setting or thriving city rich in theater, arts, history, education, and culture. Hershey is approximately 90 minutes to Philadelphia and Baltimore and less than 2.5 hours to New York City and Washington, DC.

Applicants for this position should be board certified in Pediatrics or Medicine/Pediatrics. Will accept non-tenure or tenure track appointments at the assistant/associate/professor level, dependent on qualifications. Review of applicants will continue until the position is filled.
