Overview

The Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (see http://medschool.umaryland.edu/medicine/ ) and Baltimore VA Medical Center is seeking clinician educators to help expand our inpatient and outpatient program in diabetes, obesity, pituitary, bone and thyroid disorders (position numbers 3-309-747 and 3-309-829.) BE/BC in Endocrinology is required. Ideal candidates will possess outstanding clinical skills with a strong commitment to patient care and teaching. Successful applicants will be expected to develop an active research program in clinical/translational science and assist with the teaching duties of the Division. One available position (3-309-747) will require a part time commitment at the Baltimore VA Medical Center to expand its clinical endocrine enterprise. Rank, tenure status, and salary of this full-time faculty position is commensurate with experience. All applicants interested in VA position must be a US citizen.
