NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal academic affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional Cardiologist for the following opportunity:

Advanced Heart Failure Faculty

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to:

Serve as Advanced Heart Failure faculty at the NorthShore Cardiovascular Institute programs Advanced Heart Failure Clinic and Center for Mechanical Circulatory Support
Become a member of a multi-disciplinary Advanced Heart Failure team within a comprehensive, fully-integrated healthcare delivery system that includes four hospitals
Join a division with more than 45 board-certified cardiologists covering all aspects of clinical cardiology
Join a 900 physician, multi-specialty practice that includes more than 2,400 affiliated physicians
Academic appointment to the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine is available to qualified candidates

Our ideal candidate will have:

Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure
Knowledge in the management of both percutaneous and durable mechanical circulatory support systems
A record of academic achievements and experience in clinical trials is preferred
Knowledge in pulmonary hypertension and cardiopulmonary stress testing is also preferred
