Ochsner Health System Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Communication Sciences has immediate opportunities for TWOBOARD CERTIFIED OR BOARD ELIGIBLE GENERAL OTOLARYNGOLOGIST -- HEAD AND NECK SURGEONS to join our nationally recognized team. Ochsner ENT consistently ranks as one of the top 50 ENT departments in the United States, according to US News and World Report. We offer a comprehensive array of subspecialty services at the Main Campus in New Orleans, and we seek to serve the needs of our surrounding communities and support our region-leading health system through fostering general otolaryngology practices at our North Shore facility in Covington, Louisiana, and at Kenner Regional Hospital in Kenner, Louisiana.

Ochsner North Shore represents a tremendous opportunity to develop a general otolaryngology practice with potential subspecialty focus in a state-of-the-art facility, supported by an excellent audiology team and an experienced nurse practitioner. Inpatient and emergency room call should amount to no more than 1:4, with support for routine phone calls from Ochsner on-call. Ochsner North Shore has over 150 physicians and mid-level providers with twelve locations in six communities providing an excellent referral base.

The North Shore is located across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans, with beautiful suburbs offering sophisticated living in a family-oriented environment. This area provides numerous cultural, historical, and recreational activities and has been ranked as one of the fastest growing areas in the United States.

Ochsner -- Kenner offers a hospital-based practice in a rapidly-growing suburban market. We will support the development of a comprehensive general otolaryngology practice, with the potential for subspecialty focus. Inpatient and emergency room call should amount to no more than 1:3, with support for routine phone calls from Ochsner on-call.
