ADOLESCENT MEDICINE OPPORTUNITY

The Division of Adolescent Medicine and Eating Disorders at the Penn State Childrens Hospital in beautiful rural Hershey, Pennsylvania, is recruiting a BC/BE Adolescent Medicine full-time physician. The faculty member will join three Adolescent Medicine fellowship-trained pediatricians and a family medicine physician, as well as three nurse practitioners and other subspecialists, in our busy multidisciplinary clinical practice, with a concentration on children, teens, and young adults with eating disorders. We have a number of other divisional clinical activities, including weight management, female reproductive health, and school health. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach medical students and residents. There are many opportunities to initiate and participate in clinical research and quality projects.

As a member of an academic division(s), at an academic medical center, there are opportunities to initiate and participate in scholarly projects. There is also the unique opportunity to enroll in our institutions Junior Faculty Development program. This is a mature program designed to assist junior faculty in the development of a project that can lead to a successful and fulfilling academic career.

Penn State Hershey Childrens Hospital is located in Hershey, PA, and is located near Harrisburg. Hershey is a safe, family -friendly location with access to excellent public schools and a reasonable cost-of-living. Hershey is approximately 90 minutes to Philadelphia and Baltimore and less than 2.5 hours to Washington, D.C. Review of applicants will continue until the position is filled.
